 Abstract:  A. C. Williams was a resident of Columbus, Ohio, who collected materials on and wrote in opposition to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or Mormons, during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The collection consists of letters from Arthur B. Deming, an ardent anti-Mormon who labored to secure evidence proving the fraudulent origin of Mormonism; miscellaneous newspaper clippings on Mormonism; material regarding a protest of anti-Mormons against admitting Reed Smoot in the United States Senate; and notes on Mormonism belonging to Williams, a resident of Columbus, Ohio. Also included are copies of Naked Truths About Mormonism (Oakland, California, 1888).
